km 0: Off we go/Auf geht's

Finally!!

After weeks and months of planning, today we have started our journey by literally hopping onto the nearest train. A nice historic narrow-gauge train was taking us from our small village (with a scenic platform - watch the Baltic Sea in the back) into the world.

The next seven weeks we are going east until we see the open sea again. Let's see where that will be - and stay tuned.

Endlich!!

Nach Wochen und Monaten der Planung sind wir heute los. Haben den nächsten Zug genommen – eine alte Schmalspurbahn. Der „Rasende Roland“ trägt uns von unserem kleinen Ostseedorf Lauterbach und einem malerischen Bahnsteig (Ostsee im Hintergrund) hinaus in die Welt.

In den nächsten sieben Wochen fahren wir per Bahn Richtung Osten. Mal schauen, wo wir wieder das offene Meer sehen. Bei Interesse einfach immer mal reinschauen!
